Getting started
What does Kakobuy do?
Kakobuy’s buying guide describes a purchasing-agent workflow: submit a seller listing, pay for the purchase, review warehouse inspection, then arrange international delivery. Kakobuy Pick is an independent discovery site; orders and payments are handled in your Kakobuy account.
Is Kakobuy Pick the official Kakobuy website?
No. Kakobuy Pick provides independent product research and guidance. Register and manage your account on kakobuy.com. Product purchase links may contain our affiliate code; this does not guarantee a discount or change the checks you should make.
Where do the spreadsheet products and prices come from?
Products, pictures, search results and sorting come from CnBuyCha. Prices are its displayed USD estimates. Confirm the current seller price, variant and stock in Kakobuy before paying; a spreadsheet entry is not a stock guarantee.
How do I open a product in Kakobuy?
Open a product detail page and choose Open in Kakobuy. Check the original seller listing, size, colour and quantity after the destination page loads. The link carries the original seller URL; the local catalogue ID must not be used as the seller’s item ID.
What if a product link will not load automatically?
The official buying guide includes a manual purchase form for listings that cannot be imported. Enter the actual seller URL and accurate item details. Do not invent a price or select a similar-looking product without checking the listing and asking the purchaser when necessary.
Can a seller require a minimum quantity?
Yes. Kakobuy’s buying guide specifically tells users to check the seller’s minimum quantity for 1688 products. Confirm the quantity requirement and the price for the exact variant before paying; the lowest displayed price may not describe your intended order.
Costs & payments
Does the displayed item price include international shipping?
No. The official guide separates the purchase stage from parcel submission. Item cost and domestic postage are paid for purchasing; international freight and applicable parcel-related charges are checked later. Optional services and payment costs also need to be reviewed in the current breakdown.
What is domestic shipping?
It is the seller-to-Kakobuy-warehouse delivery within mainland China. The official fee guidance includes it in the purchase cost. It is separate from the international parcel quote and may vary by seller, quantity and listing.
Does a zero service fee mean there are no other costs?
No. The official services page still identifies product cost, international freight and declaration-related costs, with optional services purchased as needed. Other help pages use different fee labels. Review the current quotation; do not interpret a service-fee promotion as free delivery or an all-inclusive price.
Which payment methods should I check?
The official buying and top-up pages describe methods including PayPal, international cards, Alipay and WeChat. Availability, currency conversion and charges should be confirmed in your own checkout. This site does not collect payment details or promise that every method is available to every account.
Why can a USD estimate differ from the amount I pay?
A catalogue estimate is separate from the seller price, chosen variant, domestic postage and payment conversion. Kakobuy’s top-up page describes currency conversion and payment charges. Compare the final amount and currency shown by Kakobuy and your payment provider before confirming.
QC & sizing
What does the standard inspection check?
The official inspection rules describe checks of visible order information such as style, quantity, colour, size and model. They also describe restrictions for sealed goods. Read those limits alongside your order photos; an external check does not reveal every hidden defect.
Do QC photos prove authenticity or electronic functionality?
No. Photos alone do not establish authenticity, durability or full working condition. Kakobuy’s inspection rules explicitly exclude authenticity, functionality and quality assessment for specialised goods such as electronics from the standard inspection scope.
Are all photos on Kakobuy Pick warehouse QC photos?
No. They are reference product images supplied by CnBuyCha; their warehouse-QC provenance has not been verified. Inspect the photos associated with your own order in Kakobuy before deciding to ship.
How should I check sizing before ordering?
Use the exact seller’s measurements and compare them with a well-fitting item you own. Confirm units and whether a number is a flat width or a full circumference. This is an editorial checking method, not a universal Kakobuy size chart or a guarantee of fit.
What should I do if an order photo looks wrong?
Compare it with your selected variant and order notes, identify the specific mismatch, and contact the purchaser through the order message area. Keep tags and packaging while a return is considered. Ask about any extra inspection or measurement service before assuming it is included.
Warehouse & shipping
How long can a normal order stay in the warehouse?
The storage policy checked on 17 October 2026 states 100 days for normal purchasing and forwarding parcels, starting from stored status. It describes a reminder after 90 days and possible disposal after expiry without submission or feedback. Confirm each item’s actual deadline in your account.
Do unmatched or abnormal parcels have the same storage period?
No. The same storage page gives 60 days for abnormal parcels, such as arrivals without an order or complete logistics information, starting from receipt. It warns that unmatched ownership can prevent reminders. Complete forwarding information promptly instead of assuming the normal period applies.
How do I estimate international shipping?
Use Kakobuy’s official estimator with the destination, weight in grams, goods type and parcel dimensions. Compare eligible routes and their current conditions. An estimate based on incomplete packing information is not a final invoice.
What is volumetric weight?
It is a size-based billing weight. The official example uses length × width × height in centimetres divided by the carrier’s divisor, then compares the result with actual weight. The divisor and applicability depend on the route; do not assume one number works for every line.
Should I combine all items into one parcel?
The official guide describes shipping purchases together, but the best choice depends on permitted contents, weight, dimensions and the quoted charges. Compare the combined and split options. Keep fragile goods protected and avoid holding items beyond their individual storage or return deadlines.
How long will the whole order take?
Separate purchasing, seller dispatch, warehouse processing and international transit. The official processing page describes packing within 24 hours and carrier collection within two working days, with weekend and holiday qualifications. These are published processing expectations, not a promised door-to-door delivery date.
Where can I track an international parcel?
The official buying guide directs users to the parcel area under My Account after dispatch. Check the record for the international parcel, not only the original purchase order. If progress is unclear, send the parcel number and latest tracking event to official support.
Returns & support
Does the five-day return rule apply to every product?
No. The official return rules are conditional on seller acceptance, product eligibility, condition and timing after warehouse storage. Some categories and altered packaging are excluded. Check the order’s deadline and eligibility promptly; 100-day storage is not a 100-day return right.
Are return postage and refunds always free or immediate?
No. The official rules distinguish reasons for return, postage, service fees and seller confirmation. Approval and refund timing depend on the order. Ask for the applicable cost breakdown before authorising a return, and check whether the refund is credited to your Kakobuy balance.
What if my delivered parcel is damaged or incomplete?
Keep the outer packaging, seals, shipping label and clear evidence. The receipt guidance asks users to report relevant issues to the local carrier within two days and abnormal parcels to Kakobuy within 72 hours of receipt. Contact both promptly and confirm the requirements for your route.
