Kakobuy sizing guide: compare measurements before choosing a label

Use the seller’s chart, a consistent measuring method and specific order notes for clothing, footwear and accessories.

There is no universal Kakobuy size chart

Kakobuy is the purchasing intermediary; the seller and the particular product determine the available sizes. A letter such as M or L is not enough to compare two unrelated listings. Even a familiar model name may be offered by different sellers with different measurements or options. Start with the chart for the exact listing you intend to order.

This guide offers a practical comparison method rather than a guaranteed conversion between countries or brands. Do not automatically size up or down because a comment about another product recommends it. Use measurements and intended fit to make the decision.

Create a reference you can repeat

Choose a garment you already wear comfortably and measure it flat without stretching. For a top, useful points include chest width, shoulder width, sleeve length and body length. For trousers, record waist measurement, rise and leg length using the same approach as the seller’s chart. Note the units and the measurement positions.

Flat width and circumference are not interchangeable. A 54 cm flat chest width is a different kind of measurement from a 54 cm chest circumference. Do not double or halve a number until the chart’s method is clear. If the seller’s diagram is unclear, ask before placing the order.

Compare fit, fabric and the intended use

Two garments with similar measurements can feel different because of cut, stretch, thickness and layering. A jacket worn over a hoodie needs a different decision from a close-fitting base layer. Compare the shape of the garment as well as the numbers; a wide body with short sleeves is not equivalent to a longer, narrower cut.

Write down the difference between the reference and the listing. For example, a listing that is 2 cm wider and 3 cm shorter than your reference presents a specific fit trade-off. Those numbers are an illustrative comparison, not a recommendation that this amount of difference will suit everyone.

Treat footwear and accessories separately

For footwear, check which sizing system the listing uses and what its length measurement describes. Foot length, insole length and outsole length are different measurements. A conversion chart cannot resolve width, toe shape or personal comfort. Use the exact seller’s information and ask for clarification if the available numbers are ambiguous.

For a bag, consider width, height, depth, opening and strap length. A bag can have enough overall volume but an opening too small for the item you want to carry. For accessories, identify the dimension that affects use rather than assuming that a product photo communicates scale accurately.

Connect the sizing decision to inspection

Include the selected size and any important clarification in your order notes. When the item arrives, compare its visible label with the order. The official inspection rules include size information among the visible checks, but that does not mean standard inspection proves a comfortable fit or includes every measurement you might want.

If you need a measurement photograph, ask about the method, availability and cost before relying on it. Raise a mismatch while the return question can still be considered and keep tags and packaging. A careful sizing record is useful evidence; it does not remove seller conditions or guarantee a free exchange.

Practical checklist

  • Use the chart for the exact seller listing.
  • Record units and whether a measurement is flat or around the body.
  • Compare with a well-fitting reference using the same method.
  • Keep the selected option and any clarification in your order notes.
